Anne has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember having had a springer spaniel dog, pet mice, rats, guinea-pigs, rabbits and various birds as a youngster and in later years, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and a horse.
She has over 20 years experience working with dogs, having had her own kennel, cattery and doggie day care which she and her partner ran for 10 years. She was a groomer for 8 years and 2 years ago joined the doggie day care business again.
Anne was the first person in Australasia to import standard parti coloured poodles (poodles of more than one colour), which she has bred and raised. Lots of them are doing obedience, agility and therapy dogs, as well as being fabulous family members. These dogs can be found throughout New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii and Singapore.

She was on Tux Wonder dogs twice, and in the last series getting in to the semi finals. She also dabbled in tracking and breed showing, carting and water works with a Newfoundland and did lure racing which the poodles loved.
